Power RangersIn 1993, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers became the American version of the popular 1992 Japanese Super Sentai Series. Instead of dubbing the entire show, English-speaking actors were hired to act out the non-masked scenes. But most of the action scenes were lifted directly from the Japanese original, including their battles with monsters and the giant robots, Zord and Megazord.
