Pogs
Pogs were originally the collected bottle caps from the
POG brand beverages made from Passion, Orange and Guava
fruits. But in the 90s, plastic discs were commercialized
for collecting. To play the actual game, multiple players
added equal amounts of pogs to a stack, and each player
used a heavier pog, called a smasher, to strike the pile.
Each pog that landed out of the stack face up became the
property of that player. Pogs are still found in couch
cushions and unpacked moving boxes today.
