ViewMaster
Originally released in 1939 for adults to view 3D scenic pictures,
the View-Master wasn't marketed to children until the late 60s when
it became the starring Christmas toy under the tree. Starting with
images of scenery and toys, the View-Master line expanded to feature
scenes from popular TV programs. Since its release, 1.5 billion disks
have been produced that fit the 25 different View-Master versions.
Now, this vintage toy is part of the National Toy Hall of Fame.
