Atari 2600 was at the top of almost everyone’s letter to Santa. Even parents. And, armed with Wonder Woman dolls and Six Million Dollar Man action figures, boys and girls battled it out for the title of Most Supreme Superhero, which came with family bragging rights for the next 20 years. Then the morning after Christmas, kids everywhere worked frantically to feed their Hungry Hungry Hippos before jetting off on their new Big Wheel tricycles to scare neighborhood drivers into sudden stops.
