Battleship
This vintage toy concept was first released as a pencil
and paper game in the 1930s. The 3D back-to-back design
we're familiar with today was first released by Milton
Bradley in 1967. When Electronic Battleship was released
in 1977, it was to the dismay of children (and adults) who
lied and changed the position of their boats mid-game.
Nonetheless, it was the Christmas toy that gave the kids
something to do while their parents finally got to open
their own Christmas gifts.
