Hot Wheels


Introduced September 7, 1968, these 1:64 scale metal machines rewrote the book on miniature cars. And American boys from coast to coast were hooked. The original "Sweet Sixteen" included such iconic cars as the Barracuda, Camaro, Corvette and Mustang. Each car came customized with "Spectraflame" paintwork, bearings, redline wheels and working suspension. Adding rack and stunt tracks, Hot Wheels dramatically outperformed all competitors at the time.
