Mr. Potato Head
Mr. Potato Head was first distributed by Hasbro in 1952,
but it wasn’t until 1964 when a body was included in the
kit. The original included plastic face and body parts to
be stuck into real potatoes, or up your little brother’s
nose. Yes, a trip to the toy store would have to be
followed by a trip to the grocery store followed by a trip
to the ER. Over the years, Mr. Potato Head literally
doubled in size and grew in popularity, bringing his
talents to several movies and his own comic strip.
