Mister Machine


Toy inventor Marvin Glass was the ironically-named inventor of this transparent toy for the Ideal Toy Company. The first release of Mr. Machine could be completely disassembled and reassembled, but later releases were sealed to prevent children from swallowing the small parts. Earlier models also featured a ringing bell as the toy marched around the house. That bell was also done away with in more modern versions much to the pleasure of parents.
